Me and my story
I’m Diana Tsegay. Though I grew up mostly outside Eritrea, I carry the heavy truth of the harsh realities inside—the endless fear, forced conscriptions, and pain that follows those who escape. This website is my voice—a place to share these stories and stand for a free and just Eritrea.
For decades, the Eritrean regime has ruled through silence and oppression. Political prisoners vanish without a trace. Families live under constant fear. Basic freedoms are crushed, and many endure indefinite military service with no hope of release.
Through this platform, I aim to break that silence. I share the struggles of ordinary Eritreans, the courage of those who resist, and the hope for a future where democracy and human rights are restored.
This is not just my story—it is the story of thousands who long to be heard. Together, we can raise awareness, inspire change, and keep the fight for freedom alive.
Thank you for visiting.
